In 2014, Silicon Valley entrepreneur Chet Jainn, along with co-founders Chai Atreya, Rich Matsuura, and Stephanie Jelley, founded Crowdera Inc. with a bold vision: to dismantle the financial barriers associated with crowdfunding.

They saw a broken system where platforms charged exorbitant fees, nudged donors for tips, and skimmed dollars off the top of campaigns for causes that mattered most. They knew there had to be a better way.

Our founding principles are simple but revolutionary. "No-donor-dipping" means we never ask your supporters for tips or add-ons. "No-agony selling" means fundraisers never face pressure to upsell or compromise their campaigns.

From Crowdera to Raisefree

In March 2024, we transformed from Gocrowdera PBC into Raisefree PBC to better reflect our core mission: fundraising that is truly, completely free.

The name change was more than cosmetic. It represented a renewed commitment to our vision of a world where individuals and organizations can raise money freely, without platform fees, hidden charges, or donor tips eating into their campaigns.

Today, Raisefree is a global SaaS platform serving individuals, nonprofits, corporations, and contributors in over 150 countries.
